Is that a painting of Gerry Mulligan in the background?
Yes! My Zayda painted a whole series of Jazz Musicians - acrylic on ceiling tile. He was an architect in the 30s, 40s, 50s etc. before retiring to 'art' all day long. I'll post more of his work one day. He passed away two years ago this month at the age of 98. Remarkable man.
